Boundless

Title:      Boundless
Series:    Unearthly
#:                3
Author:  Cynthia Hand

The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.

Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California - and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.

As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.

In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all

I want more

Love triangles, missing brothers, good and evil angels, a visit to hell, a trip to heaven. This book has me hooked.

I had planned on highlighting many excellent lines as i was reading, but i just forgot because i was too wrapped up in the story. but here is one when Claras dad shows up and teaches her to use a Glory sword and how to fight, and all sorts of nifty glory using tricks.

"in this state" he says, "you have access to anything you ask for. You must simply learn how to ask"

"Anything?" i repeat skeptically

"If you ask and you believe, yes. Anything."

"So if i really wanted a cheeseburger, like right now.."
The visions never tell you what's going to happen, they hold you in suspense, you can try and guess but Cynthia has a way of making things happen so fast, and change in an instant that you must just keep reading to find out what will happen.

I gave this such a high rating because of my emotional connection and that i agreed with the ending so much. the choices the characters made, the happy little future update.

(I read this before I had read Radiant, so if you don't have access to it, that's fine, things are explained throughout boundless anyway.)

5 out of 5

I want to write more, but i'm not sure what i can say without giving it all away!
