Waiting on Wednesday: Salvage by Alexandra Duncan

A weekly meme brought to you by Breaking The Spine where we get to show off some of the books we are waiting to be released.

This week I am waiting on Salvage by Alexandra Duncan
Expected publication: April 1st 2014 by Greenwillow

Ava, a teenage girl living aboard the male-dominated deep space merchant ship Parastrata, faces betrayal, banishment, and death. Taking her fate into her own hands, she flees to the Gyre, a floating continent of garbage and scrap in the Pacific Ocean, in this thrilling, surprising, and thought-provoking debut novel that will appeal to fans of Across the Universe, by Beth Revis, and The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.

Why am I Waiting?

I haven't read either of the books mentioned in this blurb but I still want to read it (and the other books). It just looks and feels like a book I'd enjoy, and the cover looks interesting too, (cover lover here)

  6. I'm not a big dystopian fan so I don't have this one on my wishlist although it sounds interesting. If it gets great reviews though, I'll probably change my mind :)
